Sean Wanna Dance on Fire...

Saturday, 20th of December 2008, the night where we spill whatever we learned, practised and rehearsed for had finally arrived. The night where all the dancers from Seremban were gathered at that very place called Era Square, to compete each other in this battle to show who is the real boss. It was organized by Sunshine Youth Organization and some other organizations which are infamous I guess, since I couldn't recall who they were. Everything started by 8.30pm where it was supposingly to start at 8pm. As usual, there would be some delays and technical errors, as predictable, in mostly all of Malaysian's events. Screaming and running from the ushers, havoc and chaos behind the stage, power failure, late to hand in their disc to the DJ by some groups, DJ couldn't find the CD, played the wrong song and etc.

Us, divided into two teams, joined the competition. Yunoe, King and Jill Lyn (TrendExist) dancing to BoA's "I Eat You Up", while Rosanne, Paige, Gillim and me (Fire-rism) were dancing to Britney's "I'm a Slave 4 U (Wanna Dance on Fire Remix)". TrendExist were third to get on the stage, or should I say dancefloor as we were dancing on the floor below the stage and not on the stage, and Fire-rism were fifth. There were some guests performances between breaks to ease up the tension between the competitors and to entertain audiences as well as to cover up some flaws.

After everyones turn, it was time to give out the souvenirs as a token of appreciation to those guest judges, and they were Crystal from CN Studio, Foo from Famous Yard and Jason Lee from erm.... I couldn't remember his studio's name, oh well, Jason Lee's Studio. Then, it was time to pass the certificates to all the groups of dancers. When it was all done, the very last thing to do was to announce the Champion, 1st runner up and 2nd runner up, and also prize giving. The decision sure surprised everyone and shocked everyone out of their skin or got the brains out of them.

The champion goes to a team named Cool / Crew/ Crook/ something that sounds like it who were learning from CN Studio and they danced to High School Musical 3's "16 Minutes" which lacked of energy and as if the B-boys were trying to break themself instead of doing breakdance and also lack of enthusiasm. Wait a minute. Isn't it a coincidence that one of the judges was from CN Studio? Or not? Oh well, there is always something unfair in this world. This is not the first time they are doing this and we get used to it.

Next, I couldn't remember who got 1st runner up but 2nd runner up went to the team named Multi Purpose which I thought they could win. Next time, when you enter some competition, remember to see if one or two of the judges are close to you. That's a big tip. For TrendExist and Fire-rism, we didn't win anything but we know what's fair and not and we also learned to lose with pride and lift our head high better than winning without recognization and through some dirty tricks and you have to tilt or lower down your head and cover your face and be ashamed for the rest of your life. We just take them like a normal performance like we usually do and be happy to know that the champion doesn't worth what they got. That's what some audiences told us.

After the competition, we went clubbing at Oakland's Shadow Eleven and danced our hearts out after taking our dinner aka supper at a mamak restaurant. The DJ knew we love Britney and he played "I'm a Slave 4 U, Circus, Gimme More and Womanizer" just for us. He pointed at our table and said those songs were especially for us. We were so happy and we went to the dancefloor and danced like we were the guest performer for the night while everyone was looking, cheering and clapping, some even got up to the dancefloor and danced with us. I couldn't believe I drank 2 cups of Tiger. It was because I was thirsty and no other drinks, so, I just have to sip them slowly. When all of us got exhausted, it was time for us to leave, and before that, we thanked the DJ. I got home, removed my make up and was shocked to see my face was red due to all the drinking. I quickly went to shower and take my beauty rest. That's how my last Saturday went. The End.

Joy and Laughter, Hard Work and Unknown Outcome...

Britney's latest album named Circus has been a very good companion for me to write this post. This few days can be counted as busy for me, at least I'd done more than all the other days during this holiday.

I went to Mid Valley with Denson and Kid on Wednesday, and we were thinking on where to have our lunch, and Kid suggested Dragon-I restaurant and we agreed. It's a chinese restaurant and the food there are simply amazing and they are famous for their 'Siew Loong Pau', dumpling that looks like bun with juicy soupy minced meat in them. I wanted to take pictures but the waiters there were looking at us because we were sitting near to their counter and I felt so embarassing to do so. Therefore, no pictures of food. Of course we did talked and gossied a lot while while eating. We loittered around after lunch and I fell in love right away with one of Giordano's sweater. I gave it a try but looked weird in it, and so, I had to give up on this unrequited love. Sigh... Not long after, I saw one lamp and fell in love again but my heart broke into pieces again when I got to know the price. Poor me. Sob sob. I also met a friend who came from Miri with his family and he is Vincent Choo. He told me he was in Mid Valley and coincidentally, we were going there, so, we met up just to greet each other and chatted for a very short while because his family were waiting.

Around 5pm, we took a taxi back to Cheras and I don't feel like going home yet, so, we went to Old Town and took some drinks. Then we went to Giant because Kid wanted to buy some things, and after he got his things, I went to look around the furniture department and saw this very nice white shelf with sliding front shelf. I was contemplating whether to buy it or not, and since it was so worth it, I bought it. Denson helped me to push it back to my place with a Giant's trolley and he also helped me to fix it up and putting everything together. I went totally blank and question marks were all over my face when I looked at the instruction manual and Denson manage to understand them well better than me although we were only looking at the pictures because it was all in Japanese. It took us almost an hour to get it done before going to pasar malam. Thanks a lot to Denson, without him, I don't even know what I might turn the shelf into.

Before going to pasar malam, we went to take our dinner in Loong Chuan Restaurant because both of us were very hungry after all the pushing, lifting and fixing. After that, we walked slowly in pasar malam because it was so crowded and packed as usual, and someone stepped on my left foot accidently but he just kept on walking without apologizing. I had an urge to yell at him but I didn't want to embarass myself, so I just kept on going. Denson bought a lot of food there, snacks and tid bits mostly. When we felt satisfied and enough of walking, we went back to my place and took our bath. Later, we went out for supper around 2am with Kid, and we gossiped again. Then, we went back home around 4am, and we were all exhausted.

The next day, we went to UCSI, because I'd promised Vincent to meet him for his audition because he wants to take music there and Denson wanted to visit UCSI because he hadn't been there, and Kid wanted to look for his lecturer. After Vincent's theory test, he had to wait until 2pm before his piano audition, so, we went to Old Town and had our lunch. After lunch, we brought Vincent to a piano room so that he could practise a while before his piano audition. While waiting for him to finish his audition, we waited in the piano room. Kid practised a while, I brought Denson to wander around and then went back to the piano room, I fell asleep not long after because I was very sleepy. I couldn't sleep properly the night before due to all the coughing. Later after the audition and he got the results, we brought him to the registry and he registered. Yay... another friend in UCSI. Haha. Then, we showed him the way to take a taxi because his family were waiting for him in KLCC. Then we went back home to pack our belongings. Denson was going back to Wangsa Maju and Kid and me came back to Seremban.

After all the fun, it's time for hard work because I need to practise hard for tomorrow's dance competition in Era Square, Seremban. It's been a while since the last time I danced, and this time is different because it's a competition and I usually do only performances, so, there are some pressure in it. Well, I guess I need some rest now so that I can do the dance with all my energy and strength. Wish me luck. Adios.

A Week of Fun and Pain...

Finally, after god knows how many thousand times of asking one of my best buddies out, he finally came back to Seremban last Monday and we went out that night for a drink and catching up about our life and of course not forgetting the presence of Yunoe (Kah Wai). Denson is a very busy student of pharmacy in UKM, and I am not sure if that course really consumes all his time, but like I said, it was so hard to ask him out and that was why I think I'd never written anything about him in this blog. I was kinda giving up on asking him after the last time asking him to hang out in Pavilion with Ee Wei and me last two weeks. Anyway, we were chatting happily that night not only talking about our current life, but also reminiscing about our past and what are we gonna do in the future. We had decided to go to lunch together the next day before leaving and bid each other goodbye.

The next day, a Tuesday, we were both waiting for Yunoe because he was the only one with transport, but our lunch has become hi-tea. We couldn't decide on where to eat, and they agreed to go to Jusco and we went in to Kenny Rogers because we got attracted to their delicious looking roast chicken. I havent been to Kenny Rogers for quite some time, so, was kinda excited. We ordered their new Pasta and Chicken meal and it was quite delicious. I especially love their roast chicken. Yummy yummy. Then we loittered around before Yunoe sent us back to my house. At night, Kid came to fetch us to dinner at Foodtiam, a cafe in Seremban 2. They both ordered for wanton mee and I shared with Denson because we were still kinda full from that Kenny Rogers meal. After eating, we left immediately because Kid had to go back to Cheras that night.

On Wednesday, Denson called me early in the morning and asked if I wanted to go to Greenbox. Of course I wouldn't say no. Karaoke is one of my favourite activity and also the time for us to really get bonding. Haha. So, he came over and picked me up and we had a very enjoyable time in there singing and screaming our lungs out. Hmm... Maybe that's one of the reason for me having a really bad sorethroat today. After our karaoke and bonding session, we decided to watch BOLT. I'd always wanted to watch that but apparently none of my other friends are interested in it. We walked around after buying the tickets and waiting for time to pass, and we bumped into Ee Wei, Shao Fen and Yah Ting. We were so excited because we havent seen each other for quite a long time. But for Ee Wei, I see him almost every week now since he came back to Seremban from Labuan for his holiday. Haha. Yah Ting and Shao Fen hadn't change much. They are still pretty and nice. We told them that we are going for a movie and Ee Wei wanted to join, but Yah Ting and Shao Fen couldn't because they had to leave early. Luckily for Ee Wei, he was able to buy the ticket just right next to us while all the other seats were full. The movie was nice, funny and entertaining. I like all the characters in the movie. Haha.

After the movie, Ee Wei hang around for a while at my place after we went to have our dinner or lunch in Foodtiam. Denson had to go home and came to my place again later because we were going out for a drink. We did gossiped a lot. Haha. That's what friends do when they are hanging out, right? After gossipping and chatting, Denson had to send Ee Wei and me home. I wish I have a car. It's really very inconvenient without one. You can't go everywhere you want and have to depend on someone else or public transport. And I HATE manuals.

Nothing much on Thursday, just like any other days, boring and uninteresting. But on Friday, maybe too much of hanging out, or I could blame it on the weather these days for raining everyday after a sunny and hot morning or afternoon, I'd fallen sick. When I woke up, I could feel my throat dry, headache, and my whole body was aching and as if my energy were drained. But I forced myself up because I had to go for dance practise for an upcoming competiton in Era Walk, Seremban and also a performance in January. I thought I could sweat them out, but they got worst. I reached home around 9pm plus, and I went straight to my bed and collapsed there without taking any shower. I almost fainted when I was practising but I told myself to stay strong until I got home. My head was pounding inside as if it will explode any second. So, I tried to sleep until the next day when I felt better. But my throat got worst. Even swallowing a sip of water hurts. I'm still sick, havong the worst sorethroat and my body is still aching, maybe due to dance practice, but I hope everything will be OK soon.

Well, I got to take my beauty sleep now. Hope you guys will support me in the dance competition. It's on the 20th of December. You can support me morally, or monetarily if you don't mind. Haha. Alritey, gotta run now. Adios.

PS: Thanks a lot to Denson, had a wonderful time with you. If the next time you are busy when I ask you out, I'll really give up on asking you out, or smash you right on the head the next time we hang out. Hehe.

Sean's DEVILISH SIDE REVEALED...

After some shitty moments, there was an even more f**ked up moment. Last two months, I was given two free sim cards by a new mobile company called U-Mobile in a KTM station and I just put them aside because I don't feel like changing my number. All of a sudden on last Saturday, I received two bills from them and one bill costs around RM 76 plus and I got two bills, which means they want me to pay a total of RM 153. The problem is I didn't even use them and they were still nicely attached to the card. They told me they will only charge me once you start using them, but I didn't even touch them and they charge me for that? How ridiculous. I went to the branch in Seremban and tell them the situation and they asked me to go to their main company in Time Square, KL to complain. That's what I did on Wednesday with Ee Wei, Kid and Sora. There, we waited for a few minutes and someone approached us. He was once my classmate and he is working there at U-Mobile and he helped me to settle those "free" sim cards and bills and I don't have to pay a single cent. Thanks to Siang. I think I should charge U-Mobile for wasting my time and energy to go all the way to Time Square and pay me back those transportation fees. Haha.

Next, we went to Pavilion and walked around, where we have our lunch in a restaurant named Dain Ti Hill. Eric joined in later. The food there were really nice, but everything were in very big portion. We were full to the max where we can't even stand. Haha. After lunch, we walked around again and Sora and Eric had to leave early. So, the three of us loitered around before going back to Cheras. We went to the pasar malam but we bought nothing. Haha. It was really packed and so stuffy. We took our dinner in Loong Chuan Restaurant before going to Kid's place. Ee Wei fell asleep while we were watching a reality program, and we couldn't wake him up, so, I went to the couch and sleep.

The next day, I woke up around 3pm and Ee Wei followed me back to my place and we take turns to bath before going out for our brunch. After the both of us got ready, it was raining, so we had to wait for the rain to stop. Kid actually wanted to go to Free and Easy but it was closed due to holidays and we ate at One Some. After that, we went to Giant and bought some stuffs for us to make dinner. Haha. We made Spaghetti Bolognaise, Old Cucumber Soup and Fried Egg with Green Pepper. For dessert, we had cakes from Secret Recipe. Below are the pics for spaggheti and fried egg. I don't have the chance to snap a photo of that old cucumber soup.

Today, Kah Wai and his gang went for a dance competition in Seremban Parade. Almost all of them were dancing shuffle, and only Kah wai's gang were doing modern jazz, and two groups were doing hip hop and breakdance. It was kinda boring watching so many teams doing shuffle and nothing new. They were just repeating and their songs were bloody hell long. They were actually a team but they divided into a few groups. That is a bit unfair. But still, I have to congratulate Kah Wai's group for getting third and thank me for editing that song for them. Haha. The second goes to the group who were doing breaking and hip hop and the champion was one of the shufflers gang. Too many of them and I can't remember their name. Haha.

And to those who are bias and prejudice and looking down upon me, I'll make sure that you will have a miserable life and even when you're dead, you will feel like dying again and again and all of your generations, younger and older will have not even a day to enjoy without suffering . Wahaha. If you do not know me well, just shut your big fat f**king mouth and don't say a word about me, or I'll shove something huge up your ass and coming out from your mouth.
