A week full of ups and downs...

After a stressful week preparing for my midterm exams in Advertising and Psychology, I thought I could finally lay back and relax. But it just didn't seems to go my way. The connection in Cheras is extremely bad. I couldn't even stay on the line for long or couldn't online at all. It was so frustrating, as if I don't have enough stress already. Urgh... (stomping my feet) The same thing happening again just exactly like when I was staying in Subang Jaya. That reminds me of a brochure of Streamyx I edited and posted it up once in my Friendster Blog two years ago. Here it is again. I think some of you had seen it before.

On Tuesday, the day before my midterm, Audrey called me and asked if we could perform for her event on Thursday and it was really kinda rush. So, I called Kah Wai and asked them if they could make it and fortunately they said yes. It was Audrey's assignment and she urgently needed performers. On Thursday night, we rushed to Cynna Bar to do a little rehearsal and the whole thing was going pretty smooth. Our performance was kinda cool too. Too bad we did not take any pictures while we perform, just some where we took before the show started.

After our performance, we went home straight because we were afraid of missing the last train. I was really exhausted from all the rushing and running. When I reached Connaught, I called Kid and we had supper together. Both of us had had only our breakfast on that day until the supper we had together in Mc Donalds. No wonder I was so hungry. I totally forgot I did not have any lunch and dinner that day.
Yesterday afternoon, after shopping around with Kid in Leisure Mall, we came back to Seremban and we went to lunch at Yee Kei Beef Noodle. I ate nasi lemak because I do not eat beef. Wakaka. But I did take some beefballs. Oops... Sinful, sinful. After lunch, we went to Terminal One because I had to take a few photos of Dunkin Donuts for my advertising assignment. Next, we went straight home and take our rest.
At night, my uncle from KL came back to Seremban with my cousins and aunt. And my aunt proposed on doing a slide of family photos with music in it. And so, we began searching for old photos to the recent ones. And in between the search, I found some photos of me when I was little. Here they are.

Well, hope you guys enjoy what I wrote. I'm out of things to say. Have a nice day and Selamat Hari Raya to the Muslims. Ciaozzz. (^.^)

Sean's New Gadget...

Like what I had written yesterday, I finally got my new laptop. It's Toshiba Satellite L310 and silver in colour. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it in Terminal One and I thought it was white but actually it's silver. But still, I like it very much. It has great specs and with some freebies. Although it's not very new, but still kinda new, it's fine if it's useable for me to do my assignments and have my pleasure and entertainment with it. The free things are a headset, mouse (which I don't really fancy) and a Toshiba 4GB pendrive (which I like the most among the free stuffs). It also comes in with a free Toshiba Laptop bag which I don't really like the design as well, but still it's useable. Hehe. Below are the photos of my new baby.

Scared that my baby will get fever or heat stroke, so, might as well buy the cooler pad to chill my baby down, in case he gets over heated. Haha.
That's all about my lappie. And for now, wanna wish a buddy of mine a Happy and Wonderful Birthday. His name is Denson Chua Wei Seng. May all your wishes come true and all the best in whatever you do. Happy Birthday again...
That's all I wanna share with all of you. Oh... nearly forgot... wish all of you Happy BELATED Mooncake/ Mid Autumn Festival. I know it's really late, but still, just feel like wishing you guys. Wanted to say it at my last post but I forgot. So here you are. Bye Bye... (^.^)

Here Comes The Bride...

Wedding can be the most tiring thing happening in our life especially Chinese wedding. Why do I say so? Well, it was because I was attending my cousin sister’s wedding last Saturday and Sunday. On Friday night, a few relatives from Penang came over just for the wedding and they slept in my place before going to the wedding dinner the next day.

On Saturday, we went to Port Dickson in the afternoon and preparing ourselves for the dinner. And for me, I had to do make up for the groom and also styling his hair for both days. It was my cousin sister’s request and I am glad that she trusted me. On that night, we saw a lot of family friends and relatives (where some I have no impression of meeting them before although we have the same surname Aw, and they are in our family tree). I couldn’t recognize some of them because we haven’t see them for quite some time and I was kinda blur when my dad introduce them to me and my sister or remind us of who they are. I was busy touching up for the groom’s hair and of course the main thing, eating. I ate quite a lot that night because I was really hungry from all the rushing. After dinner, we went back to the hotel where my cousin rented around 10 rooms for her friends and family who came from other places. The hotel is called The Legend Hotel. We can see the sea through my room and the room was kinda large. The only thing that was inconvenient was the bathroom. It was of western style and has no door. So, we had to stay in the room while someone is bathing or showering. Below are some photos of the hotel.
[This is the view of the bathroom]

The next day, Sunday, I had to wake up by 6.30am to do make up and styling for the groom. And by 8.30am, we depart from the hotel to fetch the bride. They played some games which I did not like at all. Then, the Chinese wedding tradition was conducted by offering tea to the elders and distribute ang pow or red packets to the young ones. Then, they have to go back to the hotel and do the same thing but to the groom’s side of family. After everything was done, we had lunch in the restaurant where we had the wedding dinner the night before. It’s called Seaview Seafood Restaurant. We then went back to Seremban after having some rest in the hotel and started unpacking.
There is another good news. Snowy gave birth to eight babies last Friday. Yup. The day before the wedding. Haha. I thought I saw only six, but today I counted again, and the total was actually eight. I wanted to post this up earlier but the connection in my Cheras room was very bad this few days. It was very unstable and kept on disconnecting. It was totally driving me NUTS. So, I had no choice but to delay this post until this very day. And I am happy that I will get my new laptop soon. Hehe. But worrying for my term paper for Psychology class and final project for Advertising which we have to start doing now. Midterm is just next week and hope I will manage to pass with flying colors and also stars. Haha.
Well, that’s basically all I wanna share to all of you who are reading. Photos of the wedding will be uploaded when I got a copy of it. Cheers. (^.^)

First week of college...

In this cold and misty morning, you can hear birds singing with their melodious chirps, and I felt really refreshing after my beauty sleep. You guys might not believe it, but, this few days my time had turned back to normal. I slept around 10pm or 11pm and waking up by 7am. Yup. It's a miracle, huh? Well, I was very tired due to my new college life and for all the travelling I made. That few days I was staying at Sora's place because I haven't got a place of my own that time. Thanks a lot to Sora and Eric for keeping me so that I don't have to sleep at the streets or pedestrian bridge or maybe Mc Donalds nearby my college. That was why I've been so tired of travelling between Maluri to Bdr Tasik Selatan, and from there, take a taxi to my college.

Fortunately, on Wednesday, Kid saw a notice and told me about it. It's a medium room for rent. So, I gave it a shot and call, and now, the room is mine. I didn't really like it at first, but thinking I have no other choice, so, I agreed to take it. The room is a bit dirty where you can see marks on the wall and stains on the switch. So, now I have to put my creative mind into use on how to beautify the room. I have to paint it and redecorate it and look as classy and nice as possible. Will take a picture of the room soon.

As for my studies, I'm doing great. But, I don't really like their system in UCSI. I'm only taking two subjects this semester because it's a short sem and they are Intro to Advertising and Intro to Psychology. Every semester, we can only take maximum of 15 credits but for this sem, we can only take maximum of 9 credits. That was why one of the subjects I chosed was rejected. Intro to Advertising and Psychology was 3 credits each. And the other subject I wanted to take was World Englishes which is 4 Credits. It got rejected just because of that 1 little credit. Some of the subjects are from other departments, so, we had to look into their time table as well, and I cant take all the other subjects because their time clashes with the subjects I'm currently taking. If those subjects clashes every semester, then I will have to wait for other semester. So, kinda worried that I might not graduate on time and have to extend. So, the system is kinda stupid. No offense, but, it's true.
Well, that's a wrap. Enough of complains from me. No photos for this post because too busy with my college life. See you guys soon. Adios. (^.^)
