Joey Yung StarLight Concert 2008...

Another great, powerful, energetic, flawless performance by Joey Yung, the Hong Kong Pop Queen who had won many prestigious award and recognised internationally for her supreme talent and beautiful voice with a sexy but sweet image. I'd been to her concert last night in Arena of Star, Genting Highlands. It was quite a memorable time and did enjoy myself a lot. Besides some of her new songs, she also sang some medley of her classic pop ballads to allow us to reminisce some old times and award winning songs that once brought her fame and recognised worldwide as the youngest pop queen in Hong Kong. I don't know chinese but I can recognise the songs names and I don't really know if I arrange the list in the correct order for the last three songs. It was a very well worth to watch concert. Joey's pitching is good and she manage to sing falsetto smoothly and the best part is, she did not even pant when she dances to her dance tracks and also did some high difficulties choreography especially in the Power Medley section. And nope, she did not lip synch. Just wanna clarify that. You guys should really go and watch even if you are not a fan of Joey's because you will be awed and adding another memorable night to remember. I also love how the lighting effects and music collaborates. It was simply amazing. She look beautiful from the start to finish with those make up and costumes. I bet the whole team had really put a lot of effort in making this concert a success. This is actually a world tour and she started it with Malaysia. I'm sure her late mentor, Roman Lo will be very proud of her. Well, that's the whole thing about the concert. Below are the photos I took during the concert.

Beautiful Sunday...

At last, after a many hours of photo editing, I'm finally done. Thanks to Alexio for giving me tips on where to find nice and beautiful backgrounds. I started around 9 or 10pm and finish everything by 5am. But, I am very satisfied with the results of editing. That is why I wanna post them up and share with all of you as soon as I finish editing. It might seem easy but getting everything to match and goes well is difficult. The photos were taken only this afternoon in our dance studio and I have to finish editing them by tonight and send to the management of the Fashion Show I was mentioning about in the last post because they need to print everything out by tomorrow. You guys can see the photos below.

Okay, skip to the next topic. We found a bird nest at a plant outside my house a few weeks ago but we didn't really bother. Then we suddenly thought of it this afternoon when we came back from breakfast and took a peek into it, and guess what, there are two little new born birdies in the nest. The mother flew away when we were walking in and out of the house, but it flew somewhere nearby to keep watching whether we'll harm her babies. I just took a picture of it, then we left. And we could hear her flying back to the nest.

After the photoshoot I'd mention up there, my family and I went to Jusco and we took sushi in Sushi King for dinner. It was a replacement to celebrate Fathers Day because my dad wasn't here last week due to a Lions Club Installation Dinner at Bahau. Hence, we celebrate it this week and my dad ordered a Fathers Day Promotion Combo and it was really huge. The promotion ends today. It was actually for 3 person and we have 4, but we did order some other food. We were really stuffed. Sickening stuffed. After dinner, we went for a little shopping before going home. And that was why I start editing late and finish early in the morning. Haha. Whenever I pass by Secret Recipe, it reminds me of the mouldy chocolate cake.

Welcome...

Welcome everyone to my new blog. I'd used Friendster's blog for a few years, so, I'm quite new to blogger but I know I'll get used to it sooner or later. I'll try to add more features to this blog later and beautify this little cyber kingdom of mine. I'm sure every blogger decorates their blog nicely and I want mine to be perfect.

I'd written a few days ago in my Friendster's blog that me and my dance team are preparing some performance for a major Fashion Show that will be held in Era Walk, Seremban on 12th July 2008, it's a Saturday. Everyone is welcome, but of course you'll have to buy tickets first. It's only RM 30 per ticket.

Last night, Jack came to my place because he was scared to sleep alone since he found his housemate died in her own room for days until they found out that she was missing. He thought that she had went outstation or back to hometown. And since, he moved out from that house. The police are still working on the case and finding out how she died. Before we came back to sleep, we went to Jusco and watched a movie, Get Smart. The movie was hilarious but I love to see Anne Hathaway in some spy and ass kicking action. She was SoOoOo HOT and COOL. But before the movie, we went to Secret Recipe and we ordered a Health cake, that is the sugar free Chocholate Cake and an Apple Brownie. the Apple Brownie was fine and I like it. But, for the Chocolate Cake, we found out something when we ate almost half of it. We saw fine greyish lines of dots and we looked closely to check what they were. And Oh My God. Those were fungus. We called for the waiter straight away and he apologize to us and ask if we want another piece of cake but we said no. I was just informing them about the cake and I don't really wish for any reparation. Someone else might get food poisoning if they didn't know there are fungus in the cake. Luckily I didnt get food poisoning. In the end, they didn't chrage us for the chocolate cake and they apologize for quite a few times. Yeah... Joey Yung's Starlight Concert 2008 will be held in Genting next week. I have been waiting for so long with strong anticipation and I just couldn't wait to see her live. I've seen some live performance of hers and she definitely can sing greatly during live shows or concerts. Don't get me wrong, I still love Sammi Cheng. I wonder how it would be like if two of my favourite Hong Kong Pop Queen are having a joint concert. Do you guys think that will ever happen?
