Wang Lee Hom Music-Man Press Conference...

I didn't expect to blog in such a short period but I just couldn't help myself to share this excitement with all of you. If I don't blog now, I might not be able to sleep tonight or do anything else. See how strong the power of blogging can be. Haha. Alright, lets see where all my excitement came from.
A press conference were held in Hilton KL's ballroom and guess what's the press conference about? It's to promote Wang Lee Hom's Music-Man Concert in Malaysia. This press conference was not open to public and only invited medias could go in and thanks a million to Danny for inviting me and also to be his photographer. But I was kinda scared to take out my camera as other photographers' camera looked much more pro then mine as they had extended lens and flash while mine is just a normal DSLR. Anyway, below are the photos showing what were happening during the press conference. Enjoy...

[Everyone was waiting patiently for the conference to begin and it was delayed because Lee Hom was late due to very congested traffic]

[Reporters trying to listen carefully and jotting down what Lee Hom answered to the questions asked]
[Look at those mics and recorders... wow...]
[While Lee Hom was answering questions, I was drooling over his boots... LOL]
[Btw, I was at the front row. This is my shoe and can you see the distance between me and Lee Hom? Wakaka]
[Feeling thirsty after answering so many questions and finally decided to take a sip of water]
[Lee Hom replying to 'The Star' reporter who was next to me]
[Wen Kang announcing time's up]
[Trying to take a last shot before he leaves]
[Lee Hom leaving and this picture is blur because I was pushed by someone and this is the last picture I snapped of Lee Hom]
Lee Hom did quite well in the press conference and he gave me a very friendly feeling. He answered questions directly without losing track or out of topic and he spoke in english for most of the time because he knew this is a multiracial country and some reporters were malays and indians. That shows how thoughtful he is. He looked tired maybe because he just finish doing a video shooting last night and had to rush to take the plane to Malaysia for this conference today. Then, he had to go to Mont Kiara for a showcase and meet the fans session. Poor Lee Hom but I think he enjoys living the life he is living and he is happy with it.

After leaving Hilton KL, we went to fetch Yap for dinner and they took me to this very nice Korean Restaurant and seems like they are regular customers there. It doesn't matter because the food there is really very delicious. It's called Seoul Korea Restaurant. They have Korea BBQ and traditional Korean cuisines. Drool all you want by looking at the pictures below. Keke.

[Eat, Eat and Eat]
[Danny thought he'd look slimmer like this... LOL]

Danny then send me home after dinner and thanks to him again for giving me such an enjoyable evening. That's all I got to say and I'm still excited about meeting Lee Hom, haha. Well, adios... (^.^)

In Between Studies and Leisure...

I was supposed to be doing my assignments now, and help Kid with his Music History too, but I just couldn't stand the urge to blog and so I ended up here blogging. This few days was kinda rush and stress, but at the same time I still manage to find time for entertainment. Went to movies, shopping and clubbing again. Whee... Just to clarify that I am certainly not addicted to clubbing and alcohol. I was just simply there to enjoy the music pumping thru my veins and shake all the stress away.
Wednesday, went for movies with Yap and Danny and we watched Hotel for Dogs. The storyline was good and it was so touching. We were sobbing badly in the cinema for some certain scenes and I think everyone could hear us. Haha. Then we went to a park called Lost World and they met some friends of theirs there and introduced me to them. They were all very humorous and friendly people.
Thursday, went out for dinner with Yap and Danny again but this time was in Fun OK. Later, we went to Lost World again and met some friends there too and we went for supper together before going home. Then I reached home around 3am and I had to finish up my newsletter and hand up by 10am (Friday) and I finished it by 5am. Yay me... Although I overslept and was very late for class, but I still manage to hand it up. Thanks to Junvina and Philomena for sms-ing me and that woke me up. Haha. I really did not hear my alarm. Maybe I was just too tired.
On Friday, Danny brought Yap and me to a new club called M-Circle located in Starhill (after I handed up my newsletter and went for haircut with Yap in a salon called Hairazone located in Bdr Sri Permaisuri and I love my new hair).M-Circle is just opposite of Pavilion. We met quite a lot of friends in there and mostly we were just chit chatting but more like shouting because the music was really loud and in the end of the night, I lost my voice. The place was kinda boring and we thought they were having an event for their opening night but nothing at all. We paid RM 35 just for a glass of alcohol and screaming to each other and the music there are certainly sooo not for me. Aaron came to join us but felt disappointed towards the place as well. But I did took some pictures in the club. Tada.

[Can see Pavilion through the window in M-Circle]

Saturday, went to Pavilion with Simon for a movie and we watched Confessions of a Shopaholic. I like the movie a lot and I was wondering what would happen if I myself is a shopaholic. Hmm... I don't think I can afford to be one and might end up announcing bankruptcy. Before the movie, we walked around and I saw this really nice singlet from Padini, and I tried it on. I am still thinking whether should I buy it or not.

[Me in Padini's singlet. What do you guys think?]

The next day, Sunday, Simon brought me to Pavilion again because he felt it's not enough for being there just for a movie the night before. He said wanted to try Wong Kok for lunch and I said OK. Took some pictures in it too.

Then later, when we were walking around and it was around 6pm, we heard someone announcing that there will be a fashion show at the main councourse area, so we went there to have a look. The fashion show was by Envee. I saw Kenny Lee over there and greeted him and we watch the fashion show together and we both commented on the clothes and models like we were experts. LOL. I didn't know they were having fashion show, if not I would have brought my Nikon D60 along. Sad... So, I used my handphone to snap some photos of the fashion show.

[Cheering and clapping before the models going in]
They announced there will be another fashion show by Jaspal later at 8pm but we didn't stay for that. We went to Sungai Wang and wander around but we bought nothing. Kenny took his dinner there and Simon and me just sat there for a drink because we were still very full. Then Kenny left early and we went back to Pavilion to take his car and left. Next, here I am blogging about everything after coming back from supper with Kid. Hehe. That's all and back to what I am supposed to do. Tata.

ASSignments "made my day"...

Finally, two assignments ( Intro to Journalism and Intro to PR) were down and two more (Photography and Design & Layout) to go. I totally deserve some wild night out after a whole week of stress for rushing the two projects.

For Journalism, I had to do a 4 pages newsletter for UCSI and Mr. Sharaad kinda expected us to write all the articles on our own. Due to some minor blockage of ideas recently, I had no other choice but to look for articles thru the net that I found interesting and relevant to students, and later edited them with my own words. Of course I did credit and cite them for fear of losing marks and accused of plagiarising. But I am not that lazy by using everything from the net. I did write some articles on my own. Hehe. Below is the newsletter I did. The name of the newsletter is U-NITY which stands for UCSI's Community in short and I was quite surprised that the lecturer and most students like it because they think it's creative. Muahaha.

In the case of PR, it was a group project where we think of a company and propose to them to be their PR and our choice was Microsoft Corporation. Our group consists of 5 person and they were Andrew, Joey, Marsha, George and me. Everyone was assigned to do something and my part was to plan an event for the launching of Microsoft Windows 7 OS Beta Version. It was kinda hard and challenging, and I had to ask some friends in the event field for informations so that my pile of work and report doesn't look fake. After finishing the proposal for the event, Andrew asked me to design a poster and brochure so that our work looks more convincing. Behold the poster and brochure I created. Wahaha.

I have to reshoot my photos for photography assignment 3 and we already got a new assignment before I can even finish the previous one. Sigh... This time the theme or topic is Provocative. What am I suppose to shoot? Any ideas, anyone? I still have to finish up my Design & Layout where YY and me had to do a magazine cover, content page and double spread. Hope we can finish everything on time. Stress again... (=.=) That's all about assignments, and next post will be all FUN and nothing but FUN... Wakaka.
