Firstly, wish everyone a Happy New Year as this is the first post for year 2012. Hope everything will go fine for you & me. After a very scary & frightening moment at the ice rink in Sunway Pyramid that me & my colleagues had been planning for some time, I've decided not to go ice-skating again. I was being too cautious of slipping & falling, I guess. Well, it was still kinda fun hanging out with friends despite the phobia. We spent almost 3 to 4 hours there and my stomach was growling in hunger as I did not have any lunch before that.

So, after the skating, we went to Summit USJ and it brought me back so much memories once I stepped into the mall. How I missed my fellow SEGi classmates & friends as we used to hang out together in Summit. Then we went to Ayam Penyet Ria for dinner which is just next to McDonald's, the place where Shakeys Pizza used to be.

Ayam Penyet means smashed fried chicken and it was done so to separate the meat from the bone for easy chewing. Well, the meat was really tender and you can really chew it easily without having to struggle to pull off the meat from the bones. But the sauce was a little too spicy for me but it still tastes good. Besides the chicken, I did try on my friend's smashed beef rib and it was super nice. For beef lovers, you guys will definitely love it. The juicy & tender meat will leave you wanting more.

Besides all that, we also had Gado-gado, a kind of snack which consists of crunchy keropok and a little spicy sauce to go with them. The Ice Mix Fruits was the best dessert we've had. It's not too sweet and just enough to chill me down and energized me up a little as I was very exhausted. It's been after so long that a meal can really mood me up. If you guys wanna try really Authentic Indonesian food, then you can always opt for Ayam Penyet Ria because they really will never disappoint you.

As Amazing As It Can Be...

Food is always the door to a happier soul. How could someone resist from good food especially like the ones me and my friends had in Italiannies last night. The dinner consists only 3 of us, Jasper, Sebastian and me and we managed to eat all that we ordered which needed at least 4 to 5 person to finish them. The portion was pretty big and we were leaving the restaurant feeling bloated to the max.

Forgot what's this call but I remember it's started with 'Clam'. Lol. This is quite a tasteful dish and we loved it so much.

This is what I loved the most, Smoked Salmon Pizza. Just because it has Salmon.

Penne Bolognaise. The meat was minced to perfection and the penne were not too soft and everything blends together perfectly.

Christmas is just around the corner and our COO gave all of us an early Christmas present which I think it's kinda costly. Everyone of us got 1 Crabtree & Evelyn Hand Cream and we were so delighted and got a little tad of motivation to work harder. Speaking of work hard, well, I was honoured as the best editor for the month November 2011 and I got a very unique pack of reward from my manager, Tammy.

My reward for getting best editor: Yes To Carrot Body Set which includes shower gel, body scrub & body lotion. They don't smell like carrot though but I still love the scent. They're banned in Malaysia as they contained dead sea mud which also kinda means Non-Halal. Don't ask me, I don't know why either.

This month has been amazing for me. Gonna go to Korea soon and I just can't wait to get there especially it's winter time there. Gonna experience winter for the first time. Wahaha. Gotta put a dot to this post now & hoping to post more amzing stuff soon. Adios ~ ^^

End Of The Year Again...

It's the end of the year again and what's coming near is Christmas. I'm not visiting Singapore this year but I'll be going to Korea with my family. Yeah... a family trip after such a long time and it's gonna be winter in Korea. Just can't wait to get there.

Now before that, some amazing events happened last month, most of them were involved with the company I'm working now. We went for a company trip in Malacca and I had a lot of fun with my beloved team mates especially the talent competition part where my team & I performed Toxic. Faizah sang and we danced. What I didn't really like was the team building games because they were very exhausting.

My Birthday & Halloween Party 2011...

Woohoo... 2 days after my birthday was one of the most celebrated occasion in the world, Halloween. This was my first time ever in joining a Halloween party, so this was how I looked after dressing up a little, but still people didn't recognise on what I was acting as? Can you guys guess it?

Of course we wouldn't miss out the camwhoring moments. Some of them didn't dress up, but it was exciting hanging out with this bunch of crazy colleagues. They are all a heap of fun.

We enjoyed the night, and have to really thank Tammy, our manager for organizing this party in The Gardens' TGIF/ Fridays and we ate to our hearts' content. The food there was quite good and the waiter who dressed up kept coming our way to scream and frighten us while we were waiting for our food. Interesting, isn't it?

Lastly, would like to thank those who wished me for my birthday and I truly appreciate them. I'm really very happy that I finally got the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 that I wanted for so long. Just can't get my hands off it. It has now become one of the essential things I need in my daily life besides my BlackBerry.

Chocolaty Sweet & Supple Lips...

I don't know whether it's just me or that most of the human beings in the world know the existence of Chocolate-flavored Lip Balms. As vain as I many sound, I do actually use lip balm. Who knows that I might bump into the right person and end up kissing. Of course I wouldn't let dry and chapped lips spoiled it for me. Let's just get back to the lip balm.

Not only I'm vain, but I'm also a chocolate lover. This two finally paired up and I just love the smell of it. Just by taking off the cover, you can instantly smell the aromatic scent of chocolate and I didn't know that lip balm would make me feel effing hungry. Of course it's not edible.

Been using it for a week, and it's not just a regular lip balm with chocolate flavor with slight minty taste. The creamy texture did help in preventing my lips from getting dry and became a little smoother (good for kissing). I also tried to put it over night and to my amazement, the sweetness was still there on my lips when I woke up. I applied before I go for lunch and ate curry, and some other oily stuff, and after a while, the chocolate taste emerged again after all the food I chunked in. Incredible, isn't it?

Luckily this lip balm is not edible, or else, I would have eaten the whole thing. I, myself truly love it for the smell and texture and taste. The best of all, it's not oily at all. Would definitely recommend it to all my friends, no matter you're a guy or a girl.

A New Chapter in Life...

It's a new month and that means a new beginning. Therefore, I got myself a new room after staying at the previous place for 3 years. This new room is not as spacious as the previous one, but it's more comfortable, especially it has an air conditioner, a queen size bed and what I love the most is the wardrobe. I finally have a bigger wardrobe for me to put most of my clothes. Some I left them in a luggage bag and waiting to be donated away.

Time do really pass us by and it's gonna be Mid Autumn Festival soon. Of course, Moon Cakes is a must for the festival and I've got a box of it from William during his last visit in July. He bought us a box of cute little mini moon cakes from Macau and I just can't wait to gobble them up. But I will have to wait for my bunch of friends to do a gathering for this festival so that we can enjoy this mini moon cakes together.

Next week will be the final week for my internship at 807 Studio. Hoping everything will go smoothly and I definitely learned a lot about photography there. Thanks a lot to the prominent photography guru, Azrul Kevin Abdullah. He did taught me a lot, not only digital, but also films and Polaroids. Hope I will have the chance to work with him again.

William's Visit in July 2011...

William, a friend from Macau came visiting again for the third time and this time he wanted a plain and relaxing vacation just to escape from his busy working life there. Almost all of our friends are busy this time and there were so limited place I could bring him to as I've started my doing my internship at 807studio two weeks ago. So, I couldn't dedicate all my time to accompany and bring him around.

Anyway, we managed to bring him to visit i-City in Shah Alam last Saturday. It was named as the city of digital lights but it was quite a boring place to me, but we managed to keep ourselves busy by taking pictures around those LED trees.

That was the only place new to him and other than that, we brought him around Pavilion, Sg. Wang, Lot 10 and Mid Valley which he had visited the last two times he came. Oh... Another one more place would be the Connaught pasar malam/ night market. He seemed to be enjoying himself that night.

Well, if only we have a directory that could guide us to all the fun and interesting places here in KL. We did plan a trip to Ipoh but it was cancelled because most of them couldn't make it. Maybe in March 2012 because William will come again that time as he already bought his flight ticket.

Well, wish to see him again soon as he had gone back to Macau this afternoon and we are so gonna miss him. Now I will have to sleep alone again. Adios. ^^

Jolin Tsai 'Myself' Tour Live in Malaysia 2011...

It's one week and 3 days late but I am still feeling the greatness of her concert that was held here in Malaysia up till today. How I wish I can see it again because she really brought out what she's got on to the stage. This person is no other than the Taiwanese Pop Princess, Jolin Tsai. I was so happy and excited to watch her live and she looks totally amazing. Her performance were fantastic, energetic and sexy. 90% of the songs she performed were dance tracks and only a few slow songs because she wanted her concert to be like a big party for the audience to enjoy and to dance along with her. Too bad Malaysians were too shy and she somehow was disappointed. Below are some pictures I took during the concert. Enjoy ~

Well, the pictures said it all. She changed quite fast and almost avery song has a different outfit. She changed five costumes for the first five songs and altogether a total of 14 costumes if I remember correctly.

How I wish the concert will never end and I really felt like partying after the concert but I was kinda tired after that. It totally was worth it even if I have to pay to go in and watch it. That's all I got to say for now. Adios ~ ^^

Dance for Life...

Thanks to Kah Wai, my very close friend where we'd danced together for so many years brought me to his newly opened dance studio called Unity Dance Studio which is situated in Millennium Square, which is quite near to my house. He taught his students some new moves and he asked me to join the class, another partner, Jill Lyn, was there too and I felt really happy to see them again. At first, I thought that I might not be able to follow, but eventually I did. That shows I still haven't lose it all. Although it was only two 8 counts, but they were enough to make me feel satisfied and feel that I am gaining my confidence in dancing which I lost a few years ago after I decided to stop dancing to continue my studies. After the class, I took some pictures of me in the studio to remind myself that I can still do it. It somehow brings back my passion to dance and perform again, but I know it's quite impossible for now. Maybe someday later, I will be able to join them back as a team. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I have to keep motivating myself and to think positively all times because with positive thinking, we can achieve more. Like me, I am truly grateful that I gained back my confidence. Thanks to Kah Wai again, and Jill Lyn, and those in Unity Dance Studio for giving me a meaningful and joyful night. Love you all. Hugs & Kisses. ^^

A Trip to Port Dickson...

One week right after our Taiping trip, we went to another trip in Port Dickson on the 7 & 8 of May. We were actually there for a Mother's Day event organized by Tiara Beach Resort on Saturday night, but of course we had some spare time to head to the beach the next morning. It was what we had been waiting for, a funtastic trip with a bunch of crazy friends. Of course it's always fun with friends around and it would be nothing without them. So, friends are important in life because they share your joy and pain. Well, back to the trip, we took quite a number of photos and I will only upload some interesting ones here.

Taiping Trip 2011...

It was my first time visiting Taiping and I certainly had a lot of fun especially with my group of crazy friends. LOL. We stayed two nights in Ryan's house and his family was very friendly. Food was of course the very main objective of the whole trip and we were stuffed like hell. We did not rush for games or anything but we were going all around to look for good and yummy food like a marathon where we eat from one stop to another. Well, enough said and look at the photos we've taken during the whole journey.

This was the best asam laksa I've tasted ever. The one in Connaught's Pasar Malam can step aside if this was in KL.

This is another famous and delicious dish in Taiping, fried kuey teow with duck eggs. It smells and tastes so good and I'm still craving for it now.

I was in the same boat with Derrick & HK. Lucky me for not having to row because it's quite exhausting.

While rowing, we can enjoy the beautiful scenery around the lake. People usually jog or take a walk there in the evening.

Finally Graduating...

I'm as free as a bird starting today after I submitted everything to my lecturer. I don't know whether I should be happy or sad because it's time for me to face the real world, but somehow I'm glad that I can finally graduate. Anyway, I need to thank a lot of people this few months for my project. Without them, this project wouldn't be completed. Firstly, of course my group mates, Ryan for being a very good director and editor, Denis for all the assistance and DOP, and lastly Naavneeta for being a very helpful producer. Secondly, I would like to thank Amber Chia, Malaysia's Super Top Model, and Benjamin Toong, Malaysia's most prominent Catwalk Guru, Jasmine Loh and also all staffs from Amber Chia Academy (ACA) for allowing us to do this corporate video for the academy for our project.

I've been through a lot last month till this very day. Celebrated Jasper's birthday, went to My Astro Award 2011, launching of Osim's uDivine by Andy Lau, Jolin Tsai's Press Conference and Showcase for her upcoming tour in Malaysia, and Alien Huang's Meet the Fans Session. I also went to Malacca and had a lot of fun with my friends after a video shooting for ACA's showcase in Malacca, and attended quite a number of fashion shows due to Fashion Week in numerous malls. I kinda gave a surprise to my friends in Facebook after I uploaded a very exposing picture of myself, which is the picture in my header. Everyone came and asked whether I am alright and I answered them I am SUPER fine and I just feel like doing something different.

After all those events stated up there, it was finally time for our final presentation on 16th of April where we had to present our corporate video to our lecturer, Ms. Lina. After the presentation, we gave a surprise birthday party for Sin Yee in Pizza Hut. It was also a farewell party for Ms. Lina for this is also her final semester to be here in UCSI. It was quite shocking when we heard about this. Still, life goes on and we wish the best for her in her future undertakings.

Wang, Kuala Lumpur last Saturday night (12 March 2011). He is such a sweetheart and nothing could take his bright smile and laughter away. For those who doesn't know him, which I kinda doubt, he is a very famous new Taiwanese male singer with strong vocals and of course not forgetting his cute and handsome face. My Chinese New Year 2011...

On the third day of 2011 Chinese New Year, Enson, Yap, Danny, Sebastian and Vaughn came to Seremban and paid me a visit. It was their first time coming to my house in Seremban and I felt kinda happy. I brought them over to my friend, Clinton's restaurant which is very well known in Seremban, that is the one and only Sin Yit Sing Restaurant. People came from all over the country just to try their very famous signature dish, that is BBQ crab. They won quite enormous amount of awards in the dining industry and Ah Xian from Astro had visited here once and was aired for the show. Thanks to Clinton for recommending us those signature dishes. It's the end of January for year 2011 and also the 100th post in my blog. Well, Chinese New Year will be arriving in a few more days and I give an early wishing to my friends out there a Blissful and Prosperous New Year. Hope the year of Rabbit brings good health and wealth to all of you.

Before I end my post, I would like to congratulate Jess Lee from Seremban, Malaysia for winning the champion title in one of the most prestigious singing competition in Taiwan called A Million Star (超級星光大道).

Chris & Fion's Wedding...

It was an unforgettable event as one of our dearest friend, Fion's wedding. We had been so close since we bumped into each other again. I am truly feeling happy for her for this big event of her's and her beloved hubby, Chris. Hope they will live happily ever after. Those few days of preparations were very tiring, but I know it couldn't be more exhausting than the two lovebirds as they needed to do even more preparations before their big day. Think of all the things you have to go through such as inviting guests and you can't miss anyone, search for a good restaurant, look for the best wedding dress, and lots more which I do not even want to think. Gosh... Anyway, just wanna wish this lovely couple a Happy, sweet and blissful life. ^^

Two & A Half Hour before 2011...

This will be the last post for the year 2010, and it's just two and a half hours to go before the year 2011 arrives. I would like to wish all of my friends a Happy and Wonderful Year ahead.

For 2011, I will try to spend more time and effort in hitting the gym as I wanna build up my body a little. Well, like my friend, Rick said in my previous post, "It is on-going awareness, man! Or else once u let go, u ll most likely be out of shape for awhile so gotta be strict... :-)". I gotta agree with his line because I was kinda busy in these 2 months and I seldom hit the gym, and guess what, my chest which I did built up a little before kinda shrinked and my abs is not that visible anymore. Sob sob. Hope I can fulfill this wish this year. Gonna spend more cash on protein supplements.

Our Royal Family Christmas Party 2010

It was certainly an awesome and exciting night for all of our Royal Family members. We decided to throw the party on the 25th because most of them are busy on the eve night. We started to decorate a few days before the party and it was such a long time since I get my hands in doing decorations. I designed a poster for this event with our faces in it, the 'Merry Christmas' wordings on the wall, and made a fake 2D fireplace which most of them didn't know it was a fireplace. LOL. Amber Chia's 29th Birthday Surprise Party in The Scot's, Jaya One...

It was Amber Chia's 29th birthday yesterday and we were invited to attend a surprise party organized specially just for her. I am sure she is very famous now and doesn't need any introduction, but in case for those who don't know, Amber is one of Malaysia's Top Super Model. Despite being 29, she is still looking gorgeous than ever and you wouldn't believe that she actually gave birth to a baby boy named Ashton Wong. It was a very happening party and full of surprises. I even won a Philips Electric Shaver during the lucky draw. The models from her academy did a show portraying from how Amber got into the industry to a Super Model and now a Super Mum. It was just fantastic and entertaining as well. Amber seemed to have enjoyed the night and she definitely is happy after what her friends and students have gone through to do this event just for her. I am sure she will make more new records and history in Malaysia. All the best to Amber and her family.

Some New & Interesting Experiences...

I finally had a taste of being a 8.30am to 5.30pm office worker in Enson's company , Carlson Marketing, but we were in different department, and I was only working for 2 days (21 October to 22 October) as they need people to call to Guam to do a survey. Enson called me the day before and asked whether I would be interested in taking that job as it was very urgent and I agreed.

It's something like Telemarketing, where I had to call every single numbers in their database, but instead of selling or promoting something, I was asking questions. I need to make at least 20 successful calls in a day and it sounds easy at first, but by the time I started calling for an hour, I started to feel pressured because most of them did not answer, or some were not in service, and some were wrong numbers, and some declined to do the survey. But, fortunately for me, I did make 20 successful calls after calling for more than 200 calls for the first day, and I was so relieved. Even the supervisor was surprised that I made it and it made me felt so proud.

For the second day, I also managed to make 20 successful calls even before 5pm. My supervisor felt really happy and asked me to do whatever I want since I've hit the call target for that day and I was sitting there and waiting for time to pass. Not long after, my supervisor asked me to try to make another 5 successful calls just for back up, and I tried calling until 5.30pm but none were successful, and she said it's OK and asked me to sign a form and I could go. It was definitely a different experience for me and it was quite enjoyable. But I wouldn't know if I can do this everyday.

Then, on Saturday (23 October) morning, Yap, Enson, Kim, Leah, Austin, Danny and I went cycling in Taman Botani, Putrajaya. Before that, we gathered and had our breakfast at a dim sum restaurant in Kuchai Lama. Seems like most of them know how to cycle and the only ones who didn't know was Danny and me. After some advices and mentoring from Kim and Leah, I finally know how to ride on a bicycle. I felt really proud of myself, but of course I will have to thank Kim and Leah for being so patient in teaching me. Then we cycle to a very nice place to take some pictures and we left Danny behind as he was still trying to figure out and analyze on how to ride that damn bike. Here are the pictures... Behold...

After cycling, we went to Kim and Leah's place to rest and shower and had lunch before heading to Pavilion and we had dessert in Snowflakes. Later that night, we had dinner in Miharja and called it a day.

Birthday Celebrations...

Like I said in the previous post, this post will be all about birthdays. Just celebrated my mum's birthday with a simple dinner at a Chinese Restaurant. Didn't take any pictures this time and no birthday cake because my mum already had enough of cakes this afternoon because her colleagues celebrated for her. So, she requested a simple one and nothing is happier than to eat together with family members. We ordered 4 dishes and a soup to serve with rice. They were delicious and fulfilling too.

Last Friday, 8th October, we celebrated Enson's birthday in My Playground Cafe in Maluri. We had been hanging out over there quite often lately and most of the time, we made them close later than their closing hour. We really feel bad whenever that happens, but, luckily they are nice enough to extend their business hour for us. His birthday is actually on the 10th but we celebrated early as he is very busy and full of appointments and dates for that Saturday and Sunday. It was a simple one but everyone did have fun. Too bad Danny couldn't join us because his dad was hospitalized.

The week before that, 3rd October, a Sunday, we gave a surprise to Danny for his Birthday in Fun OK Restaurant. We asked him out and we made it like just an ordinary dinner, and when the cake and the song came in, he was really surprised. A staff from Fun OK asked Danny to put on a funny sun glass and took a picture of us. It was priceless.

My birthday is coming soon and lets see what my dear friends and family will do. Looking forward to that day. Well, that's all I got to say. Tata. ^^

Yeah... It's already October, which means my month is here. Gonna be officially 24 soon. I don't know whether to be excited or sad. Anyway, I will try to age proudly and beautifully. How time flies and I was kinda busy the last month for helping some friends with their stuff. Helped Paige and Kah Wai to edit their songs for some dance competitions. Then, helped Samson in doing some work for Astro's Lantern Festival Gala in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. It was very tiring but had lots of fun bringing and taking care of the artistes. It was definitely a different experience for me. Well, enough said, and behold the photos below.

Enjoying and Relaxing...

It's been a week since I finish my exams and presentation. Everything went quite smoothly and I only decided to blog now due to my laziness. I totally enjoyed the time spent in Seremban, doing what I did not do for so long, and they were hanging out with my good old friends there, sleep anytime and for as long as I want, reading a book, and catch up with Hong Kong TV Series. Now I am back in KL, time to get down to business. I have to really look hard for internship now and for now, I'll have to concentrate on taking pictures for whatever events or press conferences I will be attending. Hehe.

The other day, I was hanging out with Kid, Ee Wei and Kah Wai in Jusco, Seremban 2, and we got into Watson. While walking through the counters, I saw something that attracts me. It was blue in color white writings on it. The product was said to make pores less visible. Only this alone already made me feel like buying it as I have large pores, but to make sure, I read the descriptions behind the box. Then there was a few points written on it:

Diminishes the appearance of pores for a smooth complexion.
Absorbs excess oil and instantly leaves skin silky-matte.
Contains an oil absorbing ingredient to improve the appearance of enlarged pores caused by excess oil production.
Can be used as a makeup base or over foundation.

After reading all these, I decided to buy it as everything written on the box were like talking straight to my heart. Haha. Well, here is the little blue product.

Yup, it was the ZA Pore Smoother and I've tried it the other day and it was quite good. It did make my pores look not so obvious and I was quite satisfied with it. But still, you'll have to touch up on your makeup later.

My result was finally released yesterday and glad that I passed everything. I was so worried for Media Law & Ethics, and luckily I passed. Wahaha. Hope all my classmates can pass with flying colors.

Ups and Downs...

Wow... It's already August and how time flies. I had totally skipped blogging for 2 freaking months due to all the busyness. Well, I had some ups and downs throughout the two months and my life was pretty much like a roller coaster for just 2 months.

I had been very unlucky for at least 2 weeks last month. My 1st video shooting for my Film Directing assignment kept having problems such as talents fong-fei-kei at the very last minute, therefore we have to postpone to another week and we had to search for talents all over again. Luckily, some friends were there to help and I am totally very grateful to them. Especially to my group mate, Woei Hoa.

Then, a series of unfortunate events were haunting me. I sprained my neck and I couldn't turn my head to the left for a few days. This happened on the morning where I had to present on a chapter of English Literature that afternoon. Next, my house electricity got cut off. Thanks to YY for sending me to TNB to settle the problem. The very same week, my hand was scalded with hot water and luckily, it was just a minor burn.

Things went quite smoothly after that few weeks. I was involved in filming a Music Video for one of the Top 5 contestants from Astro Star Quest 2010. Thanks to Nick for asking me to participate in filming it. It was quite a new experience. Assignments were still piling up at that time.

Later, we had to do a Moot Court for Sedition Case for our Media Law subject. Haven't been acting for quite some time but it was fun though if excluding some of the bitchy people.

Despite of all the assignments and busyness, I was still able to spare myself for a wild night out with Jeffrey, Ryan, Junvinna, Tenn Sen, and a secret person. Just had to clear my mind a bit and shake and dance all I want.

After all that, it was time to get serious again. There were assignments that need to be submitted and I finally sat for one of the final exams, Media Law & Ethics. One of the most difficult and troublesome subject in the world. I did my best and hope that I can pass this subject. I do not want to take it again. I still have a script to write, a shooting to do and another final exam to sit for, and that is for English Literature. Sigh...

Oh well, it's time for me to get some rest. Really need it now, or not I might die due to exhaustion. Ciaozzz...

Pulling The Plug...

Ive finally decided to pull the plug and end the suffering of our relationship. It's a little sad for me too but this is the best solution of all since we couldn't compromise with each other and I couldn't give you what you want. We had been through thick and thins together and we did share some happy and lovely moments, but I guess everything have to come to an end. Sorry if I've hurt you. We were meant to go on separate ways. Hope that you will truly find someone that suits you and someone who loves you and can give you more than I could. I am not good in handling relationships and I guess I'll choose not to get involved in a relationship anymore for trying not to hurt more people. You might not want to see me anymore but just wanna let you know that you will always be a part of my memories and never forget you. Wish you all the best in your future undertakings. Goodbye...

Wow, I've really been abandoning my blog for some time. It's either I have no idea on what to write or I was just plain lazy. Haha. I've been running out of ideas and enthusiasm to write. Gosh, hope this is just temporary and hope to get them back.

Ok. Here I would like to wish a Happy Mothers Day to all mothers in the world. I am sure mostly everyone is having dinner or celebrating today's event while I am home alone watching Tom & Jerry in Cartoon Network. My parents have to go to some sort of anniversary dinner and I am eating leftover food. Oh well, at least we had breakfast together this morning and that wasn't too bad.

I finally got my BlackBerry Curve 8520 last month and I was superbly excited. I hope to get Bold 2 but it was kinda expensive, so I decided to get this Curve first. It is quite easy to use and with the Digi BlackBerry Smart Plan, with only RM 58 per month with unlimited internet access, I can update my Facebook and Twitter status anywhere, anytime and also browsing the internet. Just that the keypad is a little too small, so there might be some typo error sometimes. But overall, it is a very good phone. I also got to download some apps from BlackBerry Apps World and there is one which I like very much, that is the Watt Pad application. It enables me to read e-books online or you can download the book you're interested in to read it offline later. Now I can read the books through my BlackBerry every night before I sleep. A new semester has just begun and I could feel all the stress coming on my way now. I will have to memorize some acts of laws and prepare for moot court for Media Law & Ethics, have to write 2 scripts for screenwriting, do 2 video shootings for Film Directing, do some written assignments and prepare a stage play for English Literature. Gosh... I have to do all this within 14 weeks, sooo dead. After all these, I will only have 2 more subjects to go before I can graduate, but they won't be offering next semester as it's a short semester. So, I will have to start scouting for companies to do my internship and do it next semester. Hope everything will go smoothly for me. Phew...

It was so much fun and I totally enjoyed the night during the concert. Sammi is still as great as before and I just love her futuristic costumes. WooHoo... It was the first time ever for me to watch SHE live. The show was totally awesome. Their singing were great and they certainly know how to entertain the crowd. We could just laugh with all the jokes they created. I really love the stage design and their costumes were awesome. We could totally see all the effort they put into this world tour and they did not show any tiredness and they sing on and on energetically. Lets say no more and enjoy the few photos I took. A Super Boring CNY...

It's a super boring and not-so-happening Chinese New Year this year. Although it's my year (tiger year), but I don't feel anything that is supposed to be celebrated at all. The worst part was I had to do a very last minute shopping. I only bought 1 shirt and jeans. How surprising right? The only thing that was happening around me was when all of our family members sat together for dinner. Besides that, boredom is the only thing I felt. Nevertheless, I got very little ang paus this year and that adds to the sad part of new year this year.

Saturday Blues...

I just hate it when I have class on Saturdays, and yesterday when I went for the first class of Media Writing Skills, I immediately hated it as the lecturer sucks. He kept meddling with us on whether we only want assignments or him giving exam and we were so freaking annoyed. For only that question, we wasted half the time of the class, and not only that, he was trying to bribe students with chocolates for answering his questions correctly. Hello!!! We're not primary kids anymore, and we're now in University as I believe he can obviously see.

But soon after the class ended, Seline handed us some lovely chocolate muffins she made her own. They were awesome and delicious. That made our day bright again. Thanks Seline. Too bad Jeffrey, Seline, Sylvia and Justina did not attend the class, otherwise, they can have a taste too. Below is a picture of the muffins that Seline made.

Later, we had lunch together with a really big group of friends as we had not met for quite some time. It was a really enjoyable moment to be with them and we had so much fun and laughter.

There are some things which I wanted to share before this but I did not have the time to do so. Now, lets see what they are. Hoho...

[I finally have a complete set of these Mc Donald's Coke Glasses. I always wanted to have something in a complete set, and these glasses are my first collection. I remember I had to buy a large set of Mc Value Meal plus a Sundae to get one of these each week. Usually I would be full with just a regular set, but just for these glasses, I had to force myself to swallow everything as not to waste. Eventually my effort did not go in vain. Hohoho...]

[Thanks to Elson for giving me this Britney's Singles Collection CD + DVD album as my Christmas present. I did exchange with him with a Sam Lee's Album. Hehe...]

[I actually wanted this Britney's Singles Collection Box which includes all her singles Music Video and not every of them are available in the one I got. I got to know somewhere that this collection box is not cheap and cost around RM 400. Besides, it's not available here in Malaysia, so we have to buy it through online. Sigh...]

Out of boredom, I did something really stupid but funny. I always wanted to look fit and muscular like an underwear model and wondering how I will look like with a body like that. Then, I suddenly had the idea of pasting a picture of mine onto a picture of a gorgeous underwear model's picture. Behold the result of my boredom and power of Photoshop...

Haha... I was too bored and got really fed up with all the things that's happening in our country, so, that was what I did to entertain myself even just for a few seconds of laughter. I know it's funny, but I am aiming to get a body like that. Wish me luck. Hoho...

Happy 2010... Whee...

It's the first post for year 2010 and also the first day for me going back to UCSI, and I was so happy that I can finally meet my friends again after 2 months of holidays. There is some difference this time but somehow it felt the same. I would go to the finance department and wait in a very long line just to pay my fees as late payment penalty will be charged if we pay after today, and that is what I don't hope for. Had brunch with Kazaf, Jin Fai, Stephanie, Joey and Seline after their class, and later asked Jeffrey out for tea. After that, nothing much to do and I went home to take a nap, and now sitting in Old Town with Vincent and online, having my all time favourite, Enriched Chocolate. I can't online at home, that is the reason why I am out here writing this blog as I knew I had abandoned this poor child of mine for a month. I have lots of things to write about, but sometimes I just get too lazy. Hehe. Well, I can't write much for now and will continue in the next post, which I wonder when will that be. Hehe. Got to go now.

Go Go Power Rangers, Sandy Lam and Storm Warriors...

Hmm... I didn't know what has gotten into me. I am now reliving my childhood almost every day by watching Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Haha... Kinda miss the whole thing. I remember I used to wait excitedly in front of the TV every week to watch this once favorite show of mine and I got really disappointed and sad when sometimes they had to cancel the show. I even kept annoying my parents to buy me every single toy of Power Rangers and just like any other parents, they ignored me and I would cry and beg but usually to no avail. If I was lucky, they would give in but they would only buy for me in exchange of good results from my behavior and also studies, and that was somehow my motivation to study just because I wanted the toys so badly. I wonder if that was a good or bad thing and does every little kid in the world behaves like me when I was little? Hmm...

I watched till season 3, I guess and I stopped as the storylines got really cheesy and they were just not the same as the first 2 seasons and some characters and powers were changed. I can still remember Ninja Rangers.... Hehe...

Alright, besides reliving my childhood memories, I did something that the adult me usually do and that is being a photographer and took quite some happening photos. Went to Sandy Lam's Concert and she has indeed a strong vocal. I am not a huge fan of her but she is someone Hong Kong that is really proud of. She usually speaks softly, but when it was time to sing, the changes definitely surprised me. We were not allowed to take any pictures when the concert was commencing, so below are 2 pictures taken during a press after her concert.

Next would be Aaron Kwok and Ekin Cheng together with The Pang Brothers came to KL for a Press Conference in promoting The Storm Warriors 2. They looked great despite a 2 hour long flight delay in Singapore.

That night, they also went to Time Square to meet some fans and play some games while promoting the movie as well. Look just how cool they look with those heavenly swords. After that, they had to rush for a flight to the next station. They must be extremely exhausted for having to travel and rush almost everyday. But the success of the movie rewarded their hard work. Hope they will come out with another sequel soon.

Phew... It was really tiring for me too as I had to go out everyday for the whole week for all those events but they were fun and I could gain some experience in them too. Hehe... It's time for me to snooze... Adios... (^.^)

Wow... It's been a month since my last post. My the month was well spent and quite a happy one too. My friends celebrated my birthday and gave me a surprise. Thanks to Seline, Jeffrey, Justina, Joey and Sylvia. Next will be Danny, Yap, Elson, and Zoeric for accompanying me for my birthday.

Next, I attended Sandy Lam's Live in Malaysia Press Conference that was held in Hilton, KL. She is really pretty and friendly. Hope to see her concert soon as it seems to be really interesting.

Then, I was invited to Seline's 21st birthday. It was really fun and met some of her friends too. They were really humorous and was really entertained by them. Hehe.

Well, I guess that's all for now. Nothing interesting happen lately, so nothing much to update. Will update when I have some interesting stuff happens. Hehe. Adios...

LaLa Album Promo Tour in Malaysia...

LaLa 徐佳瑩 (Xu Jia Ying), the champion of A Million Star, had debuted her album and she was here in Malaysia last night to do a promo tour. It was held in Sense Cafe, IOI Mall, Puchong. She was really enjoying it last night and was so surprised that she has so many fans in Malaysia. She sang 4 songs from her debut album and they were so full of feelings. YES YES YES..!!! I finally had the chance to meet Joey Yung in zero distance. It was held at a Hong Kong style dessert restaurant called My Honeymoon Dessert in Kepong outlet. This event was just for selected fans who won through a competition held by My Honeymoon and only those with invitations could go in. Of course it's all thanks to Danny again for allowing me to be his photographer. I was so happy that my heart leaped out of joy when I saw her. Too bad it was just an autograph session and no singing. When she got out of the car, Joey went straight in and started the autograph session. She is very friendly as she kept her smile from start to the finish. Lets just look at the pictures I took.

Saturday Night Out...

The first thing I thought of when I woke up was the boredom of staying at home and do nothing for the whole thing, so I continue to indulge back into my slumber. Then, I felt hope of being rescued from boredom when Kah Wai called me and asked me out, but have to be at night. I don't care as long as I can go out and it's been quite some time since we hang out together.

At night, he came to pick me up and off we go to Jusco. We bought movie tickets for G-Force before we shop around. The first shop we went to was Skinfood. As you all might have figured out that I am a very loyal and regular customer over there, even the sales girls could recognize me. At first, it was Kah Wai who wanted to buy cleanser, but he ended up buying cleanser, toner and a piece of mask. I didn't think of buying anything but I ended up buying an Aloe Sun BB Cream which has also SPF 20 PA+. The things Kah Wai is using are the same as mine, such as the Green Tea Bubble Cleansing Foam and also Peach Sake Toner as we have the same skin type. Below are the pictures of what I bought.

Then, up we go to the cinema for G-Force. I really love it. Not only the characters are cute and intelligent, but they also inflicted human's cruelty towards animals. It was fun and cute seeing guinea pigs in action saving the world.

My life is already boring and I already feel so lifeless, and Streamyx just likes to add salt to my wound. It keeps on disconnecting for no reason and I believe I already made thousands of calls to them but the matter still exists. They always ask me to check this and that but still to no avail in helping to get the problem fixed. Monotonous Life...

It's been 3 weeks since my college reopened and can still be considered OK. I am leading a very boring and monotonous life for now. It's like doing the same stuff everyday over and over again. Despite all that, I still manage to go out and hang out with my friends for lunch, shopping and movies, but not as often as before. I don't know why that I have this feeling that my life is changing, not for the better, but for the worst. Lets hope that my premonition is not going to come true.

UCSI is still renovating and making us very inconvenient to walk up the hill to our classes. I hope the renovation better be worth it and make our life better instead of more complicated for all the suffering of walking up the hill.

Oh well, I am out of things to say. Lets just wait till I get my colorful life back and I'll have more things to blab about. So, that's all for now. Adios...

52 or 1?

Another 30 minutes and fireworks will be displayed all over Malaysia and the word Merdeka will be heard as every citizens will scream proudly with the top of their lungs. Malaysia is 52 this year and people will just celebrate like it's the 1st birthday just like every other previous years. Performances will be held in certain states with a huge parade where cars are painted and decorated with the colors of Malaysia's flag or flowers, whether or not they're hibiscus, the national flower of this very country. Then like the previous years as well, it will be followed by a huge group of performers dancing traditional dances of every ethnic in Malaysia. I guess some people will never get bored of the same old predictable thing happening over again and again and again for the rest of their life but I'm sure our current Prime Minister will be very proud in seeing all this as he is promoting and injecting the "Oneness" concept into our brains with the slogan "1 Malaysia". Well, lets hope that we can really achieve the 1 Malaysia concept as I've heard ugly stories about it especially about our very main ethnic of Malaysia having a protest on building an Indian temple somewhere with the saying that the place is majorly of their religion. If I wanted to, there are a gazillion things for me to write about it but I just wanted to sit and wait for the glorious moment of our country's 52nd birthday while sitting in a cafe and enjoying my drink as some excited and all pumped-up Mat Rempits passing around this place noisily.

Ps: I personally feel that the 1 Malaysia logo is just too not creative, plain, monotonous, flat... and... erm... not attractive?

Rest and Relax...

The door left open with soft and cooling breeze rushing in and brushing through my delicate skin, plus the wind from the fan adds some chillness to the living hall. With the company of my TV which is now showing The Simpsons while I sit myself comfortably on the sofa and writing this very post. Ah... The comfort and satisfaction which is going through every inch of my body. It's been quite a while since I last sat in this comfy environment. Due to my studies, I rarely have the chance to come home, lay myself on the couch, flipping through TV channels, and watch whatever I think interesting and maybe online at the same time to check on my Facebook, play some games in it (Restaurant City and Pet Society most of the time) and wait for dinner to be served. How wonderful if my life could be like that forever? If only we do not have to worry about everything else such as money, studies, work, and whatever that leads us to grow grey hair faster than the speed of light. If only we could stay young forever. If only... The list goes on and on.

I've finally finish reading a book with the title 'Life's Like That' written by Lydia Teh, a Malaysian female writer who I really admire recently. Her book depicts on her own experience towards the citizens of Malaysia which we called Malaysians. She added a touch of humor while describing life of Malaysians, and I truly agree with her point of views and I could really relate myself to all the things she wrote. She was also brave enough to mention some major flaws of Malaysians but camouflaged nicely with her sense of humor.

I am currently reading her other book titled 'Honk! If You Are Malaysian' which is quite similar to the previous book, but different stories altogether. I was amazed with her style of writing and I've never in such a long time enjoy a book that is written by a Malaysian writer. Hope she will have more books to come.

The Simpsons is over and it's time for me to get back to the book. Hope I can finish it as soon as possible as my classes begin next week and it's gonna be busy, and totally gonna gives us headache due to the so-called 'systematic' systems and management in UCSI. Enjoy and relax while I still can and that applies to all my UCSI friends. Tata.

An Interview with V...

On Monday, Danny, Yap and I went to do an interview with a new group in Malaysia with the name V. It's only V and nothing else. V actually stands for Vampire because they like it as they think that vampires are cool and have a lot of changes. They will use the image of vampires for all their albums in the future. They are singers but most of their songs are dance tracks as they are a dance-themed group.

It was quite sad to hear that Toro, the leader and the eldest (23) of the group had been through so much. Something happened in his family when he was around the age of 13 or 14 and he moved out to stay alone and worked to support himself. Luckily he have very supportive friends. When he had enough money, he opened up his very own dance studio to learn and to teach at the same time. It got quite big and famous along the way. Later, he moved to KL and worked 3 jobs a day support himself, but he did not neglect his interest in dance, so he continued teaching. The conversations went on and on and I can't write everything here because most of it are private and confidential. So, below are some photos of V.

The interview did not really look like an interview and it was more like a normal conversation. They were very friendly and we have a couple of good laughs while talking to them. It was really fun. Anyway, here I would like to wish that their album will be a big hit and keep holding on. never lose sight of your dreams and interests. They will somehow take you somewhere later in life. Rotting at Home...

Gosh... It's extremely boring to have nothing to do at home for so many days. It's been only almost a week since I handed up my last assignment, and that time I was hoping to finish it early and start my resting-peacefully plan and feel the paradise of staying at home, but it all turned not that good. All those resting might be good if they're for a short period of time, but if I stay longer like that, I feel myself getting dumber. I really have to start to look for something better to do. Oh well, for a start, lets look at the assignments that I handed up.

Lappie's New Toys...

Despite of all the busi-ness with assignments, I still found the time to go to PC Fair last Saturday with Elson and Joey (Elson's friend from UTAR) as I really wanted to go and see if I could get anything for myself. Indeed, I did. I bought a few things which I am very satisfied with. I always wanted to get a laptop skin for my lappie, but most of those that I saw weren't attractive enough for me. It's either their designs were too complicated, or too childish. Seemed like Joey has the same thought because both of us especially dislike those with football teams' logos on them. We walked around and we stopped at a stall with interesting laptop skins' designs but most of those that we prefer were out of stock. Then one with blue shades and stripes attracted my attention and I bought that after asking Elson for opinion. Behold of what I bought during PC Fair in KLCC.

[Then, there is this LCD Cleanser Suit. Thanks to it, my lappie is now sparling clean. A cleaning liquid, a brush and a micro fiber fabric was attached together. The whole thing was only RM 5. Unbelievable, right?]

[This somehow amazed me the most. It's a 3 in 1 mousepad made of micro fiber fabric. You can use it as a normal mousepad, as a cloth to clean your screen, can also be used as a screen and keyboard protector. Amazing right? I am quite satisfied with it and my mouse glides smoothly with it.]

Those were what I bought and I wanted to look for a set of speakers for my lappie, but it was too crowded and we were starting to get frustrated. Therefore, we decided to go home. Elson, who wanted to go there first, bought a Canon Pixma PM145 3 in 1 printer with only RM 199. It can be used as a photostat machine, a printer and also a scanner. I wanted to get one too, maybe sooner or later. Hehe. Joey bought a laptop skin, pendrive and a mouse.

Astro Star Quest 2009 Finals...

After a 4- months-long battle, the winner of Astro Star Quest has been borned last Saturday at Bukit Jalil Indoor Stadium. I was there live as a photographer and I was very pleased with the result for this year's competiton compared to the previous 2 or 3 years. This batch has really got the talent and worked very hard to realize their dream. Congratulations to the top 3 winner, Juztin, Min and Yoke.

If Juztin was not overwhelmed by his nervousness, he might have won but Min was sparkling that very night as her performance was stable and did not show any nervousness at all. There was some minor errors that day because of their guest performer, Janice from Hong Kong was not feeling well. Overall, this year's competiton has gained my respect as the contestants won fair and square.

Presentation Sucks Big Time...

The title says it all. It was the baddest presentation ever in my life. We did a presentation about our trip to Taman Negara today for Popular Culture class and it really got on my nerve. Thanks to my groupmate for doing such a 'marvelous' video which he insisted on editing it since it was his brother's camcorder. The video is about our interviews with the backpackers we met. He said he sacrificed 3 nights of sleep to edit that video and I really wanted to tell him "and this piece of SHIT comes out?". I had been asking him for the video since we came back from Taman Negara as I have to refer to the video to write our report.

Until last Monday (6th of July 2009), he told me the CD is not readable and he had to go up and down to find ways to edit the video. Yee Ling and me were starting to panic because the presentation will start the next day, Tuesday (7th of July 2009). Monday night, he eventually found a way to transfer and edit the video. Luckily we were not the first few groups to present and we still had some time to do some editing.

Wednesday night, he came over and said he had finish editing, and I gave him some comments but he was just too stubborn and did not want to listen. I told him to adjust the volume of the backpackers as they were too soft and he did not, he did not even put subtitles because our lecturer said we have to and I personally REMINDED him not to save as MP4 file as it would reduce the video quality, and he did not listen either.

Thus, all of this led us to be the boringest and dullest group amongst the rest. The lecturer somehow dislikes me and I could feel it since the beginning of this semester and it was more obviouys today. He was laughing while commenting on other groups' presentation, but when it was my group's turn, the smile and laughter were swept right away as we stepped to the front. Luckily, Yee Ling and me did a last minute Power Point slides in class while others were presenting as not to make our presentation dry. We inserted pictures we took during the trip and explain later during presentation.

After the slides, it was time to show the sucky video. I could see my classmates doing their own things and the lecturer's face was as long as a giraffe's neck. I didn't even want to watch my own video as the sound quality was bad, it was pixelated when turned to full screen mode and no subtitles in it.

Our lecturer did not say much after our presentation and I felt a dagger stabbed into my heart when one of my fellow classmates commented "you have to becareful when you want to save your videos in MP4 format". At that moment, I wanted to say "I had REMINDED him, BUT HE WOULDN'T LISTEN", but I just said thank you and left.

Later, I went to have lunch with my friends and they understand how I felt as I already told them everything and they were being honest that our video sucks and uninteresting. I said I felt the same too but there was nothing I could do as someone insisted on doing it on his own and doesn't want me to touch it. They also said that our power point slides saved us. Phew...

Well, I had finish complaining and I have to continue with other assignments as finals are coming. Hope I can pass with flying colors. Wish me luck.

Taman Negara Trip for Popular Culture...

It's been a week since I came back from Taman Negara trip for my Pop Culture assignment and I only decided to write about it now because it was quite a busy week for me with all sorts of assignments and mid-term exams. We had to interview some foreign backpackers and see what their cultures are like and I am very grateful to make it back home alive. Lets not waste anymore time and see what I've got.

[Finally, after a long walk, we finally made it to this dorm which costs us only RM 10 per person and per night]

[After resting, we decided to eat at those restaurants located at the riverside and I took this picture while waiting for others to decide on where to eat. It's one of my favourite picture. Hehe.]

[After the interview, we immediately became friends and he is only 22 years old from France and his name is Mathias. He joined us for the canopy walk and later for lunch.]

[After waiting for 2 hours plus, it was our turn to go to the canopy walkway]

[Then, we finally made it back and took a boat back to the other side where we had started. Mathias joined us for lunch and also dinner that night. Everyone was extremely exhausted due to the long walk and all the waiting and interviewing, and we went back to take our shower and rest early that night.]

[The very last day, we took off and head to the same restaurant in Jerantut for lunch again and we were all very happy. The road was very bumpy]

I reached home and started to rush for a Written Discourse assignment which I had to hand up the next day and I of course managed to hand it up on time. Hehe.

This trip was not fun at all and there wasn't any entertainment and the whole street would turn dark by 8pm. The only fun thing I experienced there was chatting and playing poker with my friends. In my report, I will ceratinly include one sentence into my conclusion, that is "I will never ever in my life go to that place again".

Well, that's all for this post. Have to start doing some assignments as soon as possible and stop procrastinating as this is the 8th week. 6 more weeks and this semester ends. I really hope to end this semester as soon as possible. Got to go now. Tata. (^.^)

Last Saturday, 13th of June 2009, Fish Leong had come back to Malaysia and held her concert in Bukit Jalil Indoor Stadium since her last concert in Malaysia 4 years ago. This time, I could just sit there and watch the whole show and not running around pressing the shutter button of my Nikon D60 as Danny borrowed it to replace my job as the photographer while Yap being the reporter. Only two media pass were given to them, but I had 2 free tickets that worth RM 188 Thanks to Danny (given free from Galaxy Entertainment) and I dragged Denson to go along with me. [Michael Wong was the guest artiste that night and they sang a very lovely duet. Then Fish went back to the back stage for a costume change while Michael sang the song that almost everyone knows, "Tong Hua" and a cantonese song from his latest album]

[After a few more songs, it was time for encore. Later, she asked some of her artiste friends who were there that night to go up and one of them was Ah Niu. Both of them joked a lot and made the place filled with laughter. They then sang a duet.]

[After her duet with Ah Niu, both of them asked the other artiste to go up on stage as well. Z-Chen was there as he is Fish Leong's cousin, then there were Ah Fei from a former local boyband called Baby, and lastly Phoebe. They sang two songs together before everything ends]

It was a very sweet night as most of Fish's song were about love and her vocal certainly has improved a lot. I felt her emotions in every song she sang and some songs could even make you cry. Its just fair for declaring her as the queen of love songs as she totally deserves it. Let's hope she will bring more love songs that could melt our heart just like her songs do now. Z-Chen Mini Concert in The Gardens Hotel...

Last Friday, the 12th of June 2009, Z-Chen finally made a comeback after releasing his new album a few months ago and this is his first live performance after taking his rest for quite some time. Lets not waste any time and look at the pictures I took during the mini concert.

[This is a segment where he sang 2 songs and dedicated to the late Ah Shang while the screen displayed some slides and clips of Ah Shang]

[Z-Chen was crying because he was very close with Ah Shang and they were colleagues once. This segment was so touching that it made most of the people there cried]

[He then invited Ah Shang's sister onto the stage and both of them hugged tightly and they were crying really sadly. I was about to cry but I had to control and not to make my eyes blurry with tears, or else I couldn't take some nice shots]

Overall, it was a superb night and Z-Chen has still got the X-Factor to make the crowd goes wild. I did enjoy myself too although I had to run here and there to get nice shots. He is indeed the R&B Prince of the chinese music industry.

Jolin Tsai Butterfly Album Promo Tour 2009...

Dancing Diva, Jolin Tsai has finally come to Malaysia since her last concert in year 2007. She was here doing a promo tour for her latest album "Butterfly" yesterday (6 June 2009) at Times Square, KL. I had always look forward for her to come and she is finally here. I was really very excited when I know I have the chance to take photos of her. Lets look at the photos I'd taken during her promo tour.

She did performed really well and was certainly has the potential and quality to be the Dancing Diva and Pop Icon of Taiwan. I like her new album a lot too and lets just wish the best for her. Too bad I didn't have the chance to get her signature and take picture with her because I had to leave early for an appointment. Anyway, I am happy enough that I could get close to her during those photoshooting sessions and just hope she'll come to Malaysia again soon.

Intro to IT: Webpage Assignment...

I'd finally finish one assignment that is doing a webpage using notepad and keying in html tags for Introduction to Internet Technology class. It was a group assignment, so I paired up with Ray, a very nice and cheerful guy who is also a senior of mine and we used a few days to get the webpage done. It wasn't easy as some of the tags are quite complicated and we sometimes couldn't get what we wanted. It was fun somehow and we could feel a great sense of satisfaction when we finish creating the webpage. You can see how our webpage looks like and how we did it at the pictures below.

Vain Is In My Veins...

A few new items are added into my skincare collection and that means more time are to be spent on my face. Hehe. It's been quite a long time since the last time I write about some thing(s) I purchase. I can always feel some sense of satisfaction whenever I buy something especially it's for me, myself and I. Haha. I know I am vain, and that was how I got the nickname, Mr.Vanity from my friends. Well, lets look at what I had rewarded myself with after four weeks of dull and boring and pointless life.

[BB (Blemish Balm) Cream from The Face Shop. It is quite trendy nowadays and almost everyone is using BB Creams as they can cover up flaws and heal and moisturise your skin at the same time. It's like everything in one. Some even have SPF to protect your face from UVA and UVB rays. How fascinating, isn't it? You just need to apply an adequate amount to your face and it will then change the tone automatically to suit your skin tone and that makes your skin looks flawless and natural]

As you all can see, those I bought are for oily or acne-prone skin because I have oily skin and also large but not so large pores. I need to do whatever I can to save my face and look glamourous always before it's too late. Hehe.

Ah... the sense of satisfaction is crawling all over me. Wish I can buy all of those whatever stuff that my skin needs. If all those doesn't work, I'll have to go for plastic surgery. Wakaka.

Super Extreme Boring and Annoying and Sweaty Semester...

It's been a while since the last time I write something about myself. Mostly because taking pictures of artistes and press conferences were the only thing that interests me recently. Leo Club Induction was kinda fun too but I will write about it later as I don't have the pictures yet, and also did some dance performance recently as well. Other than those, my life is pretty boring especially my University life.

It is only the fourth week of this semester and I am already feel like dying. The subjects are all super extreme boring and some were even pointless. Study Skills especially is such a rip off for the subject doesn't make any sense and we paid RM 880 for them to teach us on how to study, managing our time and all those nonsense we learned when we were in primary school. As if we don't know those already and who would ever follow those kind of so-well-and-perfect-disciplined-routine in the first place? That must be a retarded one.

Written Discourse is somehow a time wasting, energy draining and money ripping subject as well. It doesn't make any sense and it's just like any other writing classes but this was more on analyzing the usage of language in writing with all kinds of not-so-understandable terms. Pretty dumb, boring and stupid, right?

For Popular Culture, at least I learned something not only about the subject, but also about the lecturer as well. I can't believe that he can be sooo freaking fake and he always made too many stories too impress us. We are not sure whether he was telling the truth or making things up whenever he tells us his travelling stories and experiences. It is always about him whenever he wanted to give us examples and I am getting really tired of it. I was also assigned into a group of 3 and we are required to go to Taman Negara, Pahang to do some backpacking and also to interview some foreign backpackers there to get to know more about their culture. It's interesting but I've heard some stories about the place and I don't feel like going already. Leeches crawling all over you and sucking blood out of you, have to beware of poisonous mosquitoes and scorpions and snakes, have to be cautious if there is any tiger(s) around you, and bring your safety amulet in case you bump into ghost(s). Scary right? Who would ever go to such secluded and dangerous place? Gosh... While some other groups get to go nice places like Perhentian Island, Malacca, Langkawi, and Cameron Highlands, it's just NOT FAIR. Argh...

As for Alternative Voices, I don't really know what to say because I had been absent for three times in a row due to some unchangeable circumstances. But I heard it's pretty boring too.

Intro to IT is somehow better than all the other subjects because at least I got to learn about the web and how webpages were made by typing html tags into notepad. But of course we only learn those very basic stuff. If we were to go deeper, I might really go crazy as this is totally not the choice of my profession and not in my field of interests.

The air conditioners in UCSI are all gone haywired. Everywhere I go is just too hot and stuffy especially in the classrooms. For God's Heaven sake, can't they repair them immediately? We just couldn't concentrate in the class (although I usually don't as they were super boring and we can just read them from books by ourselves), and we are always fanning ourselves with books or papers (energy consuming and tiring) and some even brought their electronic pocket fan or foldable paper fans. Still, we were sweating like pigs as the room were too full with students, thus, very stuffy. Lets hope this sweaty issue will be gone by tomorrow.

Phew... Complaints over and felt much better. Hope my life will spring back to life soon or I will really die from boredom. Scared that I might not make it back from Taman Negara as I might be swallowed by tiger or snake, or leeches sucking all of my blood, or got stung by poisonous scorpion... (O.o) Argh... I really don't feel like going.

Reno: 'One Chance' Album Launching...

After waiting passionately for ten years, she finally made it and debuted her first album 'One Chance' last Friday in Sg. Wang Plaza. Reno, a young lady with a powerful voice had always been looking for a chance and she was given one and saw the ray of light in her life when she was founded by her current manager, Vincent Chin who was amazed by Reno's voice and promised to bring her to fame. Below are the photos of her very first album launching last Friday.

The week before Reno launched her album, we were in U Cafe with her to do an interview. She was very friendly and nice and answered all questions sincerely. She said there are a lot of potential singers in Malaysia but they didn't have or wasn't given the chance by the media to make their own album and that was why Reno and her production team named her album 'One Chance'.

I like the concept of her album where they made it look like a movie. When they listen to the song and looking at the booklet, its like a movie and it's more towards what we go through in our daily life. They did live recording for the album so that the listeners can feel like they are in a live performance. Not bad right?

Longest Non-Stop Musical Performance Across 6 Cities...

Last Wednesday, a press conference were held in Circle Cafe, Sunway Pyramid and it was to promote a musical event called 'Longest Non-Stop Musical Performance Across 6 Cities' in Malaysia. It's a collaboration between New Pro Star and Jia Yu Channel. A lot of Malaysian artistes will be joining and they are Vinx Lim, Vick Teo, Candy Chia, Man Jiang Hong, Serene, and lots more to come. It will be held in 6th of June 2008. Here are the timeslot for where and when the event will be held. They'll start of from Gurney Plaza, Penang from 12pm to 2pm, then from 2pm to 4pm in City Square Johor Bahru, 4pm to 6pm in The Summit Subang USJ, 6pm to 8pm in Ipoh Parade, 8pm to 10pm in Mahkota Parade Malacca, and lastly 10pm to 12am in Fiesta Street Sg. Wang KL. Remember not to miss out the chance to see your favourite artiste.

Vinx Lim Official First EP Launching...

On Friday (8 May 2009) afternoon, Vinx Lim officially launched his first EP and had a Press Conference in Circle Restaurant, Sunway Pyramid. A few great compsoser and producer from Malaysia was there too because they were helping in producing Vinx's EP. Lets look at the pictures...

When they were done, Vinx finally had the time to settle down and have his lunch. He did came to us and chit chatted a while. He is very friendly and not as shy as the first time we met him. This time he did crack some jokes and laughed along with us. We also got a free copy of his EP and he signed on back of the cover for us. How sweet of him. Then it was time for Danny and me to leave for another interview with another new local singer. Well, that was all for Vinx and I will update a new post about the new female local artiste soon. Lee Hom Music Man Live in Malaysia 2009...

Last Saturday (2 May 2009), I finally got my first media pass in my life (thanks to Galaxy and Boston and also Danny) and that was to Lee Hom's Concert in National Stadium, Bukit Jalil. Danny, Yap, Kuno and me reached that place by 7.30pm and it was already very crowded. Luckily for Danny and me didn't have to be in those long lines as we had our media pass. We were then being escorted to our very seats and together with other reporters and photographers. We were then being told that we could only take pictures for the first four songs and we have to get back to our seats after that. We were kinda surprised because we thought we could take as much as we like for further writing and showing Lee Hom's costumes and also what he did in the whole show. They were strict and whenever we take out our camera, a staff would come and blow his or her whistle at us and pointing their torchlights to us. Lee Hom had indeed performed flawlessly with all his powerful and energetic vocal skills.
